Refractory Materials

CERAMOL NO.1

A. Features
  • It is ceramic castable type, an irregular powder type which is made of processed ceramic fiber, organic and inorganic binder.
  • It has higher productivity, less work time requiredment and higher energy efficiency, thanks to its lower heat conductivity
  • It can be completely cured within 24 hours after placement
  • It guarantees longer lifetime of furnaces and incinerators than the existing refreactories since it makes no spalling crack from thermal shocks such as sudden heating or cooling, thanks to the binding structure of ceramic fiber.
  • It has both insulating ability and fire resistance.
  • It can be easily repaired with #150-S, which has a good viscosity.

    B. How to construct
    1. Perform a sufficient mixing process(for 3-5 minutes).
    2. Give vibration to the mixture to guarantee better results.
    3. Set up forms with wood, fly wood or steel plate.
    4. Perform curing, which is principally done by natural dry at the room temperature. In winter, curing can be performed by 72 hours drying with the CERAMOL surface covered with vinyl.
    5. Add 40-60% of water. Rate of water addition should be 45% for general constructions(On a flat surface) and 50-55% for flow constructions.
